Just In Time For Nothing creeped in @ #49 on UKmusicksearch's Top 50 Albums of 2005. Also making the list @ #15 is Schizo Fun Addict's The Atom Spark Hotel (featuring Hadrian on guitar) and Hadrian's occassional collaborator Phillip Eno's Comfort Room @ #8.

the spectacle experiment is back in the studio laying tracks for a new full length album, to be released in 2006.

Meanwhile, Just In Time For Nothing, will be officially released in the UK in the coming months and Hadrian is set to play three shows with Schizo Fun Addict in the UK:

A collection of recordings from the past, it serves as a prequal to Just In Time For Nothing, along with JITFN b-sides and additional collaborations.

The tracks so far:

Thrown Away, Too Late, Holding On - the original electronic, "post-industrial" versions of these tracks from the out-of-print Thrown Away EP, remastered.

Nash - JITFN b-side collaboration between Hadrian, Ben Ross and Damian Gonzalez...a tribute to schizos and Mogwai addicts everywhere.

Inject This - the original improvised live instrumental version with Stephen Quarenta.

Iris Rings - a remix of the collaboration between Hadrian and Lito Vales of Philip Eno...ala Cocteau Twins, Death In Vegas, Doves

New show added... October 21 @ Rutgers Unversity in New Brunswick, a WRSU sponsored event, with Asobi Sesku, Particle Zoo and Nicki Jaine.

Also, catch Hadrian Mordecai in Schizo Fun Addict on November 6 @ Pianos in NYC. SFA will be celebrating it's latest release, Atom Spark Hotel on Canarsie Records (The Soft Explosions, The John Sparrow). ASH will be released on limited edition clear vinyl, with a free CD version included. Street dates TBA: November in the US, February in the UK.

This will be a rare US performace, and possibly the only one before their UK tour.

Plus, Hadrian has been in the studio with Loaded Dreams, contributing keyboards/synth to the upcoming full length release. Produced by Bill Racine whose engineering credits include Mogwai, Longwave, and Flaming Lips while at the infamous Tarbox Studios.

This is an excerpt from an improvisational jam session back in July featuring guest Matt McCoy on bass in addition to Hadrian Mordecai on guitar and Scott Wilson on drums.

The release date for 'Just in Time for Nothing' has just been confirmed!

May 20th the album will be released to the public.

To celebrate, a record release party will be hosted by 88.7 WRSU-FM on May 17 @ The Court Tavern in New Brunswick, NJ.

The album and (possibly) new t-shirts will be available at the show.

The CD is finally recorded and being mixed. Official release date has not been set but it looks to be in January 2003.

Until then a promo single will be available at live shows or via mailorder starting in September. This is a limited edition CD which will feature the album version of Just Like You, One More Day and Free Nights (featuring Stephan Quaranta of Zelda Pinwheel and Ben Ross of Philip's Head).

Performance dates from now until January will be scattered. Stay tuned.

The show is at The Broadway Cafe in South Amboy, NJ and it is a benefit for Al Muzer, a strong supporter of the NJ music scene and writer for publications such as The Aquarian. Come out and support the scene!
